Frequently Asked Questions

Every class and location are different, so it is challenging to provide a standard fee. We have it divided it into half day/full day and we always try to provide flat fee pricing that is all inclusive of travel expenses (excluding the hotel).

Do you have an idea or a need for a course and you do not see it in our current course offerings? Please contact us! We can create it for you if we feel it’s within the scope of our expertise. We know many other speakers and would be happy to refer you to the right speaker for the engagement (if it’s not us).

We will help to create and/or get a course approved for Continuing Education Credit. Please keep in mind that this process can take time and to schedule accordingly. We will not be responsible for obtaining the CE approval but are happy to be involved in the course writing process.

Check the schedule and availability on the website (password protected). We book on a first come first serve basis so if you want to be sure about a date then the only way to guarantee it is to book it NOW with a 50% deposit.

Download, complete and send the JMan Seminars Speaker agreement and then pay the 50% deposit online through the website.

All of our events are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Once we receive your completed contract and deposit, the date is reserved for your event. If you have reserved a date, but circumstances require you to reschedule your date, please contact us immediately. If the date you would like to reschedule to is available, we will move your date. If not, we will work with you to get you an available date that fits your needs. If a date is already reserved by another party, you will need to choose a different date.

NO, Absolutely not. We will never sell from the stage. It’s about the audience.

Rochester, NY is where I live but I may be coming from another engagement and in that instance then it could be anywhere. If you are within a 5-hour drive of Rochester, NY then I would rather drive then fly.

Yes, quite possibly. We offer flat fee pricing, so it might make sense for you to plan to work together with a neighboring board.

Bookings are on a first come, first serve basis so book out as far as possible to guarantee your event date. It’s not unusual to be a year or more out.

Yes. I try to minimize everyone’s stress level by flying in the day before an event. I love to have the ability to get into the venue to test equipment and setup 90 minutes prior to start time.

  1. First, you’ll receive a speaking agreement (straightforward–no legalese.)
  2. Sign and return with 50% deposit to reserve the date (remainder of fee is due 21 days prior to the event).
  3. You (and/or your committee) will fill out a questionnaire (see bottom of web page) to assist us in personalizing the presentation for YOUR group.
  4. A few weeks prior to the event, we’ll finalize the details with a video call.
